We wanted to locate people trapped under rubble using their phones. So, we are building flare-gun to detect disasters and automatically signal for help.

We wanted to connect people in disaster zones to each other and the outside world. So, we are building sada, to send and receive messages without internet or cell reception.

There are two things I'm interested in right now.

I often use YouTube while doing the dishes. So, right now, I'm building jarvis, a voice assistant to handle skipping ads for me. It's pretty bad, but it'll get there.

I've also been interested in artificial life for a while. So, I just started learning more about tierra to understand how I can get started.

I'm more generalist than specialist. There's so much to learn and not enough time.

It's easy to get immersed in most things I do, especially when learning. So, I struggle with maintaining balance. I need routines, but I'm not good at sticking to them.

I enjoy physics, psychology, and philosophy. I spend a lot of time trying to understand how things work. This doesn't always work, but I learn through trial and error.

I prefer shows and movies to books. I enjoy twists that I can't predict. One of each: The Good Place, The Prestige, The Trial and Death of Socrates.
